Trail head is located at 1300 Beaudry Blvd just .25 miles away
from where it intersects Country Club Drive where there is a beautiful
golf course and Country Club.
Climb the short steep pavement section and go around the gate.
The fire road will quickly steepen. At .50 miles stay right and
ahead. You quickly gain elevation and notice the nice views of
million dollor homes down below. You'll soon pass the red and
white radio towers on your left and at mile 2.5 the grade eases
up tremendously. Around mile 3 you will see an old bus bench and
a street sign! You can go ahead and take a break here. Views of
Los Angeles, Burbank, Tujunga all around you. You can continue
on the fire road, since you have only pedaled 3 miles to get here.
The fire road is of a rolling nature until you reach mile 5-5.5.
Climb the asphalt to the radio towers and have a break! Views
of Burbank, San Fernando Valley, Hollywood Hills below you. To
get back to your car, just turn around and have fun going downhill.
For a great loop, read the description to La Tuna loop. Consider
adding the La Tuna Canyon trail to this loop. Mileage w/ La Tuna
