From Northridge, take 118 west and get off at Rocky Peak. Make
a right at the off ramp and the trail starts immediately from
that point on...
Best trail for most cardiovascular exercise given the shortest
distance travelled. The fire road all the way to the top varies
from being smooth to sandy to having water eroded ruts depending
on the time of the year. You can continue on from the top and
hit Chumash or take Humming Bird trail on your way down to test
out your technical riding skills by riding the whole single track
clean.
